This luxury stone cabin located in the snowy mountains of Crackenback in the New South Wales region of Australia, offers an incredibly luxurious experience for its residents!
Externally, the house is coated in stone, giving it a rich look while the wooden frame of the windows gives us a clue on what we can expect to see on the inside of the cabin.
As you enter the cabin you are welcomed by a hallway that has a meaningfully styled space for the washing machine along with a tap, sink, and a few cabinets, as well as an access room to the bathroom right before the laundry area, while the end of the hallway leads straight to the kitchen.
The inside of the house is styled in a combination of Timberwood and clean white color with a gray accent in the kitchen and a blue accent in the living room, and the entire space is designed in a minimalistic way with a lot of clean space complementing the elements, giving it an extra layer of luxurious feeling and further complementing the entirety of the luxury stone cabin.
The elegant and modern minimalistic look is also complemented by floor-to-ceiling windows offering the residents to enjoy the beautiful view of the surrounding forest, especially in the cold winters when the trees are covered in white snow while you are sitting next to a cozy woodstove with a warm cup of tea in your hands and a soft blanket on your back.
Even though a house of this caliber could definitely use a stone fireplace, the place is being heated by a modern woodstove that fits nicely on the wall between the kitchen and the living room covering the entire common area of the house.
The simple design of the living room includes a common sitting area, a few decorative bookshelves, and an access door to the bedroom which is designed in the same style as the rest of the luxury stone cabin and offers a relaxing experience thanks to the decluttered fang shui of the space and the natural lighting beaming through the windows.
The bathroom can be also accessed from the bedroom through a wooden sliding door and it is further styled with grayish concrete panels combined with Timberwood elements, darker gray wall lights, and bronze-colored plumbing accessories, while the lighting relies on a small window around the toiletry and some ceiling lights to illuminate the shower area.
Before finishing the video, we are taken to the outside area of the house where we get to see the patio, the house surroundings as well as an outdoor timber bath with an amazing view towards the house with the beautiful forest in the background.
In this video, Lucy Glade-Wright is taking us on a tour where she shows us the beautiful interiors of the cabin, and the surrounding environment, as well as teaches us some history about the origins of this astonishing piece of work.
