Touring a beautiful minimalist studio apartment

Before we start touring this minimalist studio apartment let’s first dive a bit deeper into minimalism, see what it is and how can it help us live a simpler, yet happier life. Minimalism is something that has been on the rise for a very long time now, especially in the last few years.

With the rise of the internet, Minimalism started growing rapidly, and not only that more people practice it but one of the reasons for its rapid growth is that more and more people recommend it, and since that many people recommend the same thing, then it’s probably something worth exploring.

So what is minimalism?

Minimalism is the concept of owning only things that you make use of or things that add up to your joy and happiness.

Many people around the world have this habit of not only buying things that they don’t necessarily need but also keeping almost everything that they’ve ever purchased with a random excuse like “It reminds me of this or that” or “I am sure I will make use of it someday” and these habits are doing us no good because by practicing this we only make our space more and more cluttered until we come to a point where we are living in a total mess which mess adds up to us feeling depressed.

That’s why many of the people who have tried minimalism are strongly recommending it!

Getting rid of most of the stuff that you possess but don’t really need or use is one of the essential things that you’ll need to do when you get into minimalism. By doing this you free up a lot of space and make your room look more spacious and organized. And when you are in a clean environment, having your space tied up you can’t help but feel better about yourself.

This video is just a sample of how minimalism may look for a single individual since this concept allows us to bend our wants and needs around it.

For example, the guy who owns this apartment is really into sports and has 4 TVs in his living room. That does not mean that you are supposed to have them as well. You can just hang some art pieces on the wall and have no TV at all if you want.

The freedom that this concept and way of living gives us is one of the reasons behind the happiness that minimalists are experiencing. Another reason for their happiness is the fact that when you don’t own many material possessions, you become aware of the importance of your own wellness. The fewer material possessions you have the more value you put on your physical, mental, emotional, and even spiritual well-being.
